Budget 2026: Higher qualifying salaries for Employment Pass, S Pass holders
Singapore will raise the qualifying salaries for Employment Pass and S Pass holders from January 2027, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said in his Budget speech on Tuesday (Feb 12). Maximum employment age for work permit holders will be raised from 60 to 63
There will be no hard cap on how long a migrant worker can work here from July 1, 2025, in a move that is set to reshape Singapore’s foreign workforce for years to come.
